Gran Canaria's plan to use its reservoirs as a giant battery to store wind energy is expected to generate 60% of the island's electricity needs within five years.

Soria is the cycling route with everything; rolling start, long flat 16km (one of the few on the island), 9km climb & 9km descent, head wind, tail wind and always deeply satisfying.
