Lex Thoonen

• Started and has been working on Gran-Canaria-Info.com since 1998, when hyphens in domain names was still cool :)
• Lex Thoonen grew up with just one goal: to become an interstellar astronaut. Upon finding out he was born too early, he chose to move abroad and work and live in the sun. After sales proved uninspiring, he attempted an under water career which was over before he could get on land. And when he failed at everything else, he decided to become a photographer which fits nicely, as he finds it extremely difficult to sit still.
• Lex thinks he starts to know Gran Canaria pretty well. He has lived in Puerto Rico, in Tauro, in Balito Beach, in Montaña la Data, in Castillo del Romeral, in Telde and now lives in Agaete.

• Alex has been writing and taking photos for Gran Canaria Info for 10 years.
• Born in Gran Canaria, he visited 40 countries looking for somewhere better but gave up and came home.
