African air brings blue skies with a few high clouds (the ones that look good at sunset) and may bring a spot of dust in the middle of the week. So far, the forecasts show the dust missing the island but if it does arrive it will thicker in the south.

Expect hot days with the temperatures up in the high twenties and cool nights (no cloud to act like a blanket) with temperatures down to 15ºC all over Gran Canaria. 

This patch of hot, sunny weather lasts until at least the end of the week although the cloud will build up in the north towards the weekend.
